JT’s mum commented on his Facebook photo album: “Happy new year son, its just another year thats gone and another came till i meet my maker. looking chirpy.”
How morbid, but yes, I guess we are all near death. Met S and Xw today for lunch and drinks. I don’t realise how much I miss old friends till I see them again.
S., who is also resident doctor, says he’d’ve asked me to get a biopsy sooner if he had known how gaunt I’ve become. Severe weight loss, enlarged lymph nodes, multiple long high-fever spells: he fears it might be tuberculosis, lymphoma or some other cancer.
